This website is operated by Meta Brewing Corp. ("Meta Brewery", "we", "us"). By using metabrewery.ca, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

1. Legal drinking age

This site contains information about alcoholic beverages. You must be of legal drinking age in your province or territory of residence (18 in Alberta) to use it. By entering the site, you confirm that you are.

2. Wholesale ordering

Online ordering is available only to approved wholesale customers who hold a valid liquor licence. By applying for or using a wholesale account, you confirm that:

• the information you give us is accurate and current
• you hold, and will keep, every licence needed to buy and resell liquor
• you are authorized to place orders for your business
• you will keep your login details secure and tell us promptly about any unauthorized use

We may approve, decline, suspend or close a wholesale account at our discretion.

3. Orders and acceptance

An order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we confirm it or deliver it. We may decline or cancel an order, in whole or in part, for reasons including product availability, pricing errors, or concerns about licensing or payment. If we cancel an order you've paid for, we'll refund the amount paid for the cancelled items.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude GST and container deposits unless stated otherwise. Prices may change without notice, but changes won't affect orders we've already confirmed. Payment is due [at the time of order, or on the terms set out in your wholesale account].

5. Delivery

We deliver to licensed premises within Western Canada. Delivery dates are estimates. Someone of legal drinking age who is authorized to receive liquor for your business must accept the delivery. Risk in the products passes to you on delivery.

6. Returns and refunds

Returns, replacements and refunds are covered by our Return and Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

7. Product information

We work to keep product details, including alcohol content, formats, availability and images, accurate. Recipes, packaging and availability can change, and the product you receive may differ slightly from what's shown. Always check the label for current information.

8. Responsible use

Please enjoy our products responsibly. Don't drink and drive, and don't supply alcohol to anyone under the legal drinking age.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this site, including the Meta Brewery name, logos, product names, label artwork, photos and text, belongs to Meta Brewing Corp. or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce or use it for commercial purposes without our written permission. Approved retailers may use product images and descriptions we supply solely to promote and sell Meta products.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site. That includes trying to gain unauthorized access, interfering with how it works, submitting false information, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

11. Forms and communications

Information you send through our contact, contract brewing or retailer forms is handled under our Privacy Policy. Sending an enquiry doesn't create a contract or oblige either of us to do business.

12. Third-party links

The site links to other websites, including Liquor Connect and our social media pages. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or practices.

13. Disclaimer

The site and its content are provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about the site's accuracy, availability or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot legally be excluded.

14. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Meta Brewing Corp. is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of the site or our products. Our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

15. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Meta Brewing Corp. against claims and costs arising from your breach of these terms, or from your resale or handling of our products in breach of applicable law.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted here with its effective date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be heard in the courts of Alberta.
